Cyndi Goodwin

COACHING POSITION:

Assistant Women's Coach, University of the Redlands

Cyndi Goodwin is one of two Southern California State Directors. She has taught many NSCAA coaching courses including the National Course and the High School Diploma Course.

Goodwin has been an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program at the University of the Redlands since 2010.

Prior to her arrival at the University of Redlands, Goodwin coached high school boys and girls for 22 years, most recently at Colony High School. In addition, she has worked with various club programs, including the Cal South '87 Girls' Olympic Development Program (ODP) that won a national championship.

Goodwin enjoyed a solid playing career at the University of New Mexico, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Education and Psychology. In New Mexico she coached high school, club and ODP, garnering New Mexico State Coach of the Year honors in 2000.

Goodwin currently resides in Corona and works as a high school teacher. She teaches algebra and geometry to students with disabilities.
