How did you first become involved with the NSCAA?
National Diploma - Binghamton 1990

Why do you continue to stay involved with the NSCAA?
Collegial atmosphere, professional development

Why do you like teaching NSCAA courses?
A chance to make a contribution to the continued development of the game through coaching education.

What is your favorite NSCAA course to teach and why?
Advanced Regional - there's something for every level of coach from the technique of passing all the way through team tactics and systems of play.

What is the best thing about the NSCAA Academy?
The learning experience it provides all of us in a collegial and mutually beneficial learning environment.

Who is your all-time favorite player?
Pele - still the standard by which all great players are judged.

Who are/were your mentors in soccer?
Alan Cameron, Jim Lennox, Steve Klingman, Joe Bochicchio, Jeff Tipping

Who are your mentors in the coaching profession?
Same as above

What advice would you give to young coaches?
Coach within your own personality. It's a players game, we're just facilitators.

What is your favorite book and why?
Winning by Clive Woodward. A great insight into creating and managing an elite culture.

What is your favorite movie and why?
Crash - brings up issues about which not many people feel comfortable.

What is the last book you read?
Mourinho - Anatomy of a Winner by Patrick Barclay

If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Wanderley Luxemburgo - Real Madrid Coach (now former) - how great would it be to have a couple of sessions with the "galacticos" of Real Madrid?
