The short and long term effects of the US Soccer Federation Player Development initiatives are far reaching, impacting all youth clubs and coaches. As a way to prepare you for some of these initiatives the NSCAA has developed the Small Sided Games: 4v4, 7v7 and 9v9 Special Topics Diploma. This series is dedicated to preparing players, teams and clubs to address the tactical, technical and logistical opportunities presented in this new era in youth soccer. Coaches attending the "NSCAA Small Sided Games Diploma - 4v4, 7v7 and 9v9" will be treated to four presentations including 42 training activities to support the new playing formats.
How to Play Like a European Club Champion:

How to Play like a European Club Champion is a series of 4 on-demand presentations breaking down the strengths and weaknesses of 3 of European soccer's finest club teams and previous European Champions League winners - Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Barcelona. This series is ideal for coaches wishing to understand and emulate the playing successes of the 3 prestigious clubs. With each team loaded with precocious talent and commanded by celebrated Head Coaches - Guardiola, Mourinho and Martino - our presenter takes an intriguing look at the strengths and weaknesses of each team, the systems they employ and discusses how key players contribute to the team's success.

This series focuses on moments in the game that become critical to the result. Topic areas include transitioning into a counterattack, 'killing' the game off when in the lead and game-winning restarts, to name just a few. The clinicians in this series are proven winners in pressured situations and collectively have won the World Cup, Olympic Gold Medal and National Collegiate Championships as coaches. Top Ten Series:

The ‘top ten’ coaching clinics are standalone presentations focusing on a particular technical or tactical theme presented in 45-60 minutes by a coaching expert.  Each clinic offers 10 favorite progressively more challenging activities employed by the presenter with their youth players.

These sessions are ideal for a coach working with youth players U8 and older, looking for 10 tried and tested activities that will keep coaching session’s fresh and engaging. One activity flows effortlessly to the next as players become more competent and more challenging environments are required.
Player Development Curriculum:

Establishing a developmentally appropriate and consistent approach to player development has never been easier with the assistance of NSCAA.  For the first time in youth coaching, the NSCAA offers coaching education tutorials packed with activities, tips and advice for coaches working with youth players 3-18 years old.  A coach listens to a 5 minute clinic tutorial, prints off the activity plan and is ready to inject new life into a coaching session.  Select one or multiple stages from the NSCAA 5 Stages of Development Curriculum Model: Stage 1: 3-5 year old; Stage 2: 6-8 year old; Stage 3: 9-11 year old; Stage 4: 12-14 years old; Stage 5: 15-18 years old.  Includes 100 activities expertly illustrated in full color and 100 activity presentations (20 per stage), 6 Curriculum presentations with handouts and an NSCAA Diploma for each Stage completed.
